Then he worshiped the big rounded stone beneath the tree with the blood of goat and prayed that he should get a child. His prayer was accepted and within a year that Adiwasi got a handsome baby.
These kinds of thousands of incidences took place in India every day. The question is who is God ? Who listened to the prayers? A God in prayer house is true or a Tree God is true God? Whether a prayer made looking at the sky reached to God, or the planet Mantra reached quickly to God in the sky because planet is also seen in sky? Whether Amitabh's Ganesh was a powerful God or Mahalaxmi Goddess was more powerful ?
We can understand this with most common sense that irrespective of prayer made to a stone, a living person, a God in sky or a tree or whatever be the form or without form, there must be only one power listening all prayers and answering them. It will be a foolish idea to believe that all the powers in above examples were different and independent powers. If we believe that these (a to g) powers were different then the question arises that who is the most powerful and biggest God? A tree, a idol in the temple, Samadhi or a God hidden in prayer house? Now in this situation we shall find out whose problem was severest and which God solved it in minimum time. This is impossible to find out, or one may go mad finding this out. It is therefore; right to believe that God is one, listening to all prayers of the people irrespective of faiths made to Him in visible or invisible form.
We have seen above only the success stories of prayers to God. What about the prayers those were not responded? If God starts agreeing to every prayer, nobody will be unhappy in this world. If one prays to God and he gets job, how there will be millions of young men and women remain unemployed? How there will be food shortage? How there will be natural calamities? How there will be accidents? How there will be premature deaths? How there will be divorces and orphan children? How there will be wars between the countries?
It remains only coincident, if we think seriously, about the God responding to the prayers. If somebody has ten problems and he prays God for healing, his faith becomes strong even if only one problem is solved. He forgets about the remaining nine problems sufficient to keep him in tension. Ultimately, in state of mental stress, anxieties, tension, over thinking, fear etc. prayer of God is not surely a dependable remedy. Similary, God, deitiy, tree, Samadhi, Baba etc. can't come to one's rescue every time.
Human being has to solve his own problems with use of his own intelligence; this becomes an ultimate truth.
Untold are the miseries and agonies of the human being. What will happen to individual in this world is unpredictable. We see the worst of the worst kind of human tortures and killings taking place in this world. Many people must have seen the video of a Western journalist whose head was cut forcibly by a knife and made Halal like an animal in Middle East. What was the reason behind killing the thousands of innocents in 9/11 case? What was the reason behind killings of millions of the people of one race during Second World War? What was the reason behind death of thousands in Killari earthquake? Thousands of accidents, natural and manmade calamities are faced by human beings, the reasons of which can't be explained, except to blame nature or to the people who cause it. These are the cases of the mass killings, deaths, tortures etc; the individual cases are equally dreadful. Some people go absolutely mad due to unbearable mental stress arose out of some torture, fear, complex, anxiety, debts, unsuccessfulness, insults etc. Lot of people commits suicide due to unbearable mental tension and fright. The world is full of sorrows; terrific sorrows.
Who can cure the mental stress of the people ? God? Religion? Yoga? Psychiatrist? Medicine?
