Dear Anil
Your doubt is very genuine and can strike to anybody's mind naturally.
However, we are fortunate that our ancient sages have give sufficient
knowledge to us through the scriptures to clear such doubts.
I'will try to explain it here and insist that you should read carefully each
article in the site www.onlineselfrealization.com <http://www.onlineselfrealization.com> , especially explanation
to Bhagwat Geeta 3/27-28
1. The concept of Karma is based on what we see and what we experience.
Generally, we do not know that our experience is as illusory as our
experience in the dream. Karma theory is put forth to justify the unexpected
or expected occurings that we observe or experience. After the knowledge
of Self, the Karma dissolves in self and nothing remains.
2. In Vedic philosophy the "first being" theory like that of other religions is
not accepted. There was never a first being. It will again be a question as
to who was his mother ? It will be like a chicken first or egg ?
The universe and entire manifestation is just opened before us like it is
opened after we wake up from the sleep. The universe disappears with all
its living and nonliving contents, like it diappears when we go to sleep.

swamiji pranam i am always doubtful about karma because if we pay for our karma this mean that the first being on earth had a clear account and hence never suffered which i strongly doubt

Dear Dilip, Aashirwad,
Hinduism is a Sanatan Dharma. It is not not created by any person like almost all religions in the world were created by somebody.
In fact Hinduism was the way of living life rather than religion and it was a natural religion of all the living beings on the earth. Hinduism can't therefore,
be against any religion/people. Hinduism became "religion' when the idea
of organized religion came in to vogue with establishment of some independent
religions outside India. There was neither religion nor any "ism" before that prevailing in India. Hinduism had to become organized one due to constant attack and the forcible conversion of the Indian people for past 1200 years.
You are of course, right that all other religions need the specific rituals to be called that a person belongs to a particular religion. Hindus are born and not made. In fact people of the world do not understand it that they were born as
Hindus and converted afterwards with certain rituals.

Dear Swamiji,
I would like to ask you two questions, when the hindusim started in this world and was india only the country it followed or any other country as well? and second question, as far as my knowledge concernd when the child is born in this world, after creating certain ceremony he or she converts into other religions, is that true? so if yes, that means every child born in this world is suppose to be hindu? because in hinduism there are not ceremonies to be performed. I would be glad if you can reply my questions.

Who am I and what is my relationship with God? How is God defined? When my soul was first created, I presume it was perfect in itself, but how come it became imperfect? Why has this happened?
