Thank You very much for the timely advice given . I continue to avil the freedom to contact You sir, when ever need arises. Recently I have read Viveka Chintamani. Once again Thank you very much for the personal advise given.

a. How many souls are there?
Ramana mahirishi says "There is only one Self". That means there is only one soul?
b. Suppose me and my friend is there, so are there 2 souls or only soul?
c. Is everything coming from soul, what about non-living things like fan,tubelight etc? what about buildings, walls, they are also coming from soul?
d. How many minds are there?
e. Dream and wakeful states, in wakeful state I am seeing the same people and same things and they dont change but in dream I am seeing different things...How come mind is creating the same people and same things in wakeful state and different in dream state?
f. What about ants,birds and other animals like fish...all these have souls? That means lot of souls or only one soul?
g. What is the use of this world and life if soul is everything?
h. What about sun,moon and sea and earth..are these created from soul?

You need to read a book "Vivek Chudamani" written by Hon. JagatGru Shankaracharya.
Mukti (emancipation) is not a thing to be achieved, nor it is a blessing to be received from somebody.(God or Guru) It is a condition of mind. You are emancipated the very moment you honestly want to get rid of the worldly attachments.

a. Ans :Only one soul emerges in billions of animates and non-animates
like only one ocean emerges is billiions of tides with different shapes and durations. Everything is nothing but soul.
b. Ans: There is nothing like two or more. Dvaita appears due to Bhrama (illusion due to nescience)
c. Ans: Tubelight is a glass, some plastic and metals. Glass made of sand,(earth) plastic made of petrochemicals,(earth) metals procured from soil. (earth). Everything was earth as its original form. The form is changed not the element i.e. earth.
Every thing sensed by us is the form of five spirits. (ether, air.fire water and earth). These five spirits are created from soul.
d. Ans: There is only one pure consciousness devided into infinite minds.
e. Ans: Dream state lasts for short time. It connects many pieces of memory of present and the past births and short and longtime thoughts to form the images and incidents which are sometimes different from that of wakeful state. It has no rule or limitation.
f. Ans: No doubt about it. (explained above)
g. Ans: The use is apparent. For the thinkers and saints, there is no use of life and the world, it being very very illusionary and short time experience. (Refer Bhagwat Geeta 15/3)
h. Ans :Yes. Created from the five spirits (elements) (explained above)
