Swamiji,
Thank you for the answers.
In my childhood itself I made up my mind that never to do harm to others even if we cannot do any good to them.
But the day to day happenings made me frustrated.
Hearing my story can bring drops of blood in one's eyes rather than tears.
I shall draft it and send you due course. if you have time please go through it.

''If human beings came into this world fresh from the hands of Nature, they would come without impressions."
"Eight millions of bodies have we had before we reached the human". Said Swami Vivekananda.
How the above sayings reconcile with 3/28 of Bhagwat Gita.
Kindly throw light on this

Shri VS Dwarkanath,
Namaskar
Your questions pertains basically to 1. Rebirth and 2. Geeta 3/28
These two topics do not relate to each other, have no contradiction hence
no need to reconcile.
Let me explain.
1. In purest Upanishada knowledge "Najayate Mriyatewa" , birth and death are said to be impossible. So, there is no question of rebirth or going through eight million bodies. Geeta also supports this vide 15/3.
However, Upanishada knowledge is very difficult to be grasped by the laymen who are under the influence of Maya (Avidya).
The kind Rishis therefore, propounded the theory of rebirth in Puranas, that is very much accepted by Hindu society. The purpose was to keep the people away from sinful acts due to fear of bad rebirth.
So, what Swami Vivekanand told was true for the society. Nor for the knowledgeable saints.
2. Geeta 3/28 descrtibes how the knowledeable person (gyanee) does not involve himself in the worldly mattters and worldly happenings considering that what is experienced by five senses is the properties of the nature and nothing else. In fact nothing takes place.
