Question : Tarun Kishore Lal, Fiji M/33 20th November 2008
I am looking for a true guru who can take me out from this materialistic world to spiritual world through self realization processes. If you could become my guru would be a great honor but as a true pupil I need to ask a few question to justify my self that I am choosing a right guru who would be able to take me from darkness to enlightment

Dear Tarun, Namaskar
Thank you for your mail. You can ask questions to Swamiji through
form on the website and get yourself satisfied.
However, please understand from the articles in the website as to who
is qualified to get the knowledge from Guru ? Make sure that you get
that Adhikar (entitlement to gain knowledge of God) by observing some
spiritual discipline that includes renunciation.
Thank you,
Abhinay Secretary to Swamiji.

what is karma? what it will do? how to overcome to this?

Dear Srividya, Aashirwad
It is extremely difficult to make you understand what is Karma. You must
have some spiritual base to understand it. Many volumes and big books
are written by the wise people on Karma. You can read "Geeta Rahasya"
by Lokmanya Tilak if you interested in knowing the Karma well. I write hereonly in brief for your knowledge.Karma as defined in the Shastra is "any deviation of mind or body/parts of a personwith some purpose or without purpose". You can simply call it as action of body or mind. There are Karmas like breathing, taking food, cleaning body etc. which one has tocarry out to live. These karmas are compulsorily done by all whether one lives a aesthetic life or worldly life. These are not taken by Shastra in to considering the Karma in spiritual study though they are karma.
1/ Nitya 2/Naimityik 3/Kamya and 4/Pryaschitta are the four type of Karmas told by Vedas.
On has to undergo the results of the karma in his life, irrespective of whether theKarma were carried out in this life or the past.
"Na Bhuktam kshiyate Karma, Kalpakoti Shatairapi" is the guidance of Shastras. This means one has to undergo the good of bad results of Karma, let millions of years pass. No body can escape Karma phala. (results). In my experience of about 50 years in this spiritual field I learnt that only Guru Kripa can dilute the Karma results to some what extent. Even God does not interfere in Karma matter. You must surrender to some knowledgeable Guru and take his advice by making some sacrifices for him.
