Prayers Page 7
God has no eyes; He looks through our eyes, we egoistically think, “I am looking”, God has no ears, God listens through our ears; we egoistically think, “I am hearing”, God has no nose; He smells through our nose; we egoistically think, “I am smelling”, God has no tongue, He tastes through our tongue; we egoistically think, “I am tasting delicious food” and so on. We never think that our eyes, ears, nose, hands, legs etc. made of leather can’t have any sense. Imagine, our brain is cut off from our body and kept on the table. What is its value different than a piece of meat? All the body parts are intact one minute after death. What is the value of our organs? It is He, it is God and it is happiness that makes our bodies beautiful and moving and acting. We look for the God, for the happiness in the outside world. How could we be happy? Have we seen a single man on this earth who became the happiest man forever due to prayers to God?
So, what we achieve from prayers to God is not coming from outside anywhere. What we achieve like peace of mind is not coming from the God in idol, God in heaven, God in sky or anywhere. God is not there in any prayer house or temple of the world, He is an awakening within us. He is in knowledge within us. The prayer gives a recollection of memory of our original form for a minute or so. Our prayer is heard by God within us till we go through the recollection of memory, that I am happiness. I am a child of the happiness. I am born out of endeavor to gain happiness. My father and mother wanted happiness. Their love caused my birth. I am a “fruit” or “result” of the quest of happiness by my mother and father. I am purely happiness. The memory that “I am happiness is revived when we are in prayer, with tears in our eyes; when we had become greatly emotional. The prayers are heard at that climax of emotions by the inner God. The inner God is shielded by our ignorance. Our nescience does not allow us to meet God who is very much with us only. We love him too much. God does not want to leave us. But we leave God and divert our attention to worldly pleasures, and then foolishly try to find the lost God in the world. Our memory becomes lost in the pursuit of happiness i.e. pursuit of God, because we try to find Him in external world. Guru of the author, Hon. Khapti Maharaj has written poetry; the author gives here an English translation: (Of course, with begging pardon for the poor knowledge of English)
You have with you your beloved God
You are not different from almighty God
He flows in your entire body being kind
He is very much in prayer house of your mind
Your body is filled with His divine light
Close your eyes and see His stars bright
Wherever in the world you think is power
It is nothing else but your God’s favor
Filled with the power are your body particle
Entire universe dwells in your brain article
This is what was told to Arujna warrior;
and Lord made his old nescience clear
“Khapti” requests all the brothers and sisters
Why don’t you try to search the God “inner”?
The above is the philosophy of God, Guru and everything of this unfortunate author. This philosophy made him stronger and stronger every day. In Urdu Shayari the same principle is explained,
Khud Ko Kar Buland Itna, Ki Khud Khuda Pucche Teri Rajah Kya Hai.
“Make yourself such a powerful person that let God ask you your choice”
Coincidently, in Urdu language, the word “Khud” means “I” or “Me”, and “Khuda” means God. There is difference of a letter “A”, in myself and God. “A” means agreement. Let anybody give up his obstinate nature and egoism and make agreement with God directly, Khud will soon be Khuda. Let there be no priest, Guru, books, holy books, religions, faith, rituals, idols, signs, prayers etc. between God and You. Surrender to God directly and become God yourself. Mahatma Gandhi used to chant a song, “Nar Karani Kare, to Narka Narayan Ban Jay”. (If man decides and acts, he becomes God).
The ancient Indian sages had not disclosed these secrets to all due to the fear of misunderstanding and misuse; instead, they had directed the people to pray to God for the well being. Prayers are meant to forget the world and come back to the memories of original form i.e. God. And God is happiness. Almost in all religions the prayers and praises are made to God without understanding the meaning of it. Neither the priests understand nor the so called saints. God has no ears and God does not listen. God speaks through your mouth, listens through your ears, touches through your skin, smells through your nose and looks through your eyes, but you do not understand it. If you can forget the world even for a moment, you will understand, “I am not a mortal body, I am not mouth, I am not nose, ear, skin, hand legs etc., but I am a part and parcel of the immortal God known as soul or Self. I am immortal soul. I am happiness.”
