He could find the defense mechanism that nothing could disturb his happiness now. There are rains and there is heat, but the author has been given an umbrella of knowledge that keeps his mind safe and peaceful despite any disturbance. In his prolonged experience and study he found that the prayers based on emotions are not very much useful to combat the wraths of circumstances, often called as wrath of God or deities. Instead, cool study of the root cause of the misfortunes makes a man well prepared to face the unfavorable time maturely. The author politely requests the readers to read this article through the spectacles of a human being who has spent young and beautiful days of his life wiping out tears. Prayers did not work in his life and he knows firmly well that prayers do not work in anybody’s life. It’s a generosity of human being that he gives credit to the prayers for whatever little favors of fortune he thinks he has received in life. It is his greatness that he does not blame prayers to be failures, even after tolerating series of misfortunes throughout life.
Why does human Pray God?
If we think impartially, coolly and leaving behind the old impacts on mind we should not have the difficulty in agreeing to the following points that make the people of world pray to God:
1 The fear of the unknown.
2 Extreme desire to be away from sorrowful situation in respect of
money or honor.
3 The fear of danger to health and the fear of death.
4 Greed about the momentary pleasures in worldly life.
5 Natural inclination to pray the superpower for blessings for own
wellbeing.
6 Natural desire to get proximity with God without any selfish
reason.
7 Religious pressures, direct or indirect.
If the above seven are absent in your mind, probably you will never need God. You will be the happiest person on this earth. You need God because one or all the above seven thoughts are present in your mind, or in your subconscious mind. In the Hindu scriptures also this is made very clear. Why there is God and why we require God? The ancient Scriptures say, “Complete elimination of the human grief and attainment of the continuous bliss “is the reason why one should learn the spiritual sciences i.e. the knowledge of God.”
We are now in the 21st century. We ought to understand God by our knowledge. This is the age of information technology. We need information of most of things we deal and come across, and hence we need the information about God too. We believe in God because the books say there is God or because the priests say there is God. This phenomenon will never be accepted by the young generation, who has started their studies in technological subjects since early age. This is the reason why the science educated younger generation is reluctant about God. Most of them have lost the faith in God, or otherwise they are inclined to join the sects which are totally atheist and propagate the absence of God. This is dangerous for the future generations of human being. Loss of faith in God in new generation everywhere in the word will make them void of the humane values and character. The new younger generation of the world is getting more engaged in entertainment and relaxation of mind by unfair means like sex, music, drinks and drugs, rather than being involved in the admiration of God or the search of God. The holy books of all the religions of the world have lost the control over them. Why only the younger generation? The ignorance about God and pursuit of pleasure is rapidly increasing in the people of the world, irrespective of age.

The above described decay in the number of theists in the world is found less effective in India though there is no forced religious education like in some of the countries. The reason is a twofold system of understanding about the God. Ancient sages in India were extremely brilliant people. They had voluntarily undergone the terrific austerities to obtain the knowledge of true God. They would not only be stern celibates, but also, absolutely away from material life. They had very much studied the people and their natural inclination of mind. They knew that the common man can’t put up with the disciplines, austerities and sacrifices required to understand God, though he talks too much of God and rather makes a show of his religiousness. They knew that the people want to see God, understand God or want the blessings of God, without too much of pains, without sacrificing comforts of life. The people remember God after enjoying all the bodily pleasures. The ancient Indian sages, being aware of this human weakness, had discovered the two- layer system for the seekers of God, and for everybody, so that the common people would also be on the proper way of understanding God. Most of the people in the world pray and worship God without knowing who is God? Where is God? What does He do? How he created the world? etc. Indian sages knew that unless the people have the answers to these questions, their prayers and worship remain only emotional and they could not get the real benefits from God.
