He wanted to become millionaire. He wanted all pleasures of life like any other human being would desire. But he was unfortunate. He had to incur heavy cost for each moment of pleasure. He faced series of failures to find only one moment of success, but in vain. He thought sometimes that he should end life. He thought Guru would stop his misfortune. He gave in to Guru but to ruin himself materially. His last failure in life was disastrous and he found himself socially dead. Social death gave him insight. He came to know that success and failures were high and low tides. All the good and bad in life were like inner currents in the ocean. Everything was water. In reality nothing had taken place in life. Everything was there, where it should have been. His false sense of attachment was the root cause of the sufferings. With the new vision given by Guru he searched God. He searched ultimate truth when he had nothing left with him of his own. He found to his dismay that he was him-”self” whom he was restlessly searching. He himself was a treasure of pleasure, not the world.
Treasure of Pleasure
Studied in commerce and philosophy Aniljee was very close to Hon. Khapti Maharaj for 15 years. Before that he was in service of his Mantra Guru Hon. Nana Maharaj Taranekar (Indore, India) for about equal period. So he served the great Indian Guru (s) for more that thirty years. He wrote a few books and poetry (Stotra, Bhajans and Bhakti Geet) under the pen-name "Chaitanyadas" on the life and teaching of Hon. Khapti Maharaj. His literature was read and appreciated by Maharaj himself , who otherwise would not allow anybody to write anything about him. Hon. He tried to find out the reasons by consulting Astrologers, but in vain. He then studied Astrology himself and found the astrological reasons in the birth chart, but could not remedy the misfortune. He was born to religious father and mother; so he had very much faith in God and used to worship God for hours to gather daily. God hardly responded to his prayers during difficulties. He had become habituated of looking coolly at his green garden, set on fire by his luck, which he had created with great investment, labor and pains. The only good luck was his wife and children who always tried to share happiness with him and respected him.
He met many spiritual advisors but he was not satisfied until he suddenly came in to contact with Hon. Khapti Maharaj. He started understanding the root cause of his troubles in life. Calamities did not stop, but he could change his views looking at the severe problems of life. He mastered his mind and never lost his balance of mind nor his bliss during the difficult times after then. Maharaj tested him in all respects. Maharaj wanted his disciple not only to be an enlightened man but also a man who would understand the problems of people from all walks of life. He made him a true Saint. Aniljee not only devoted his life to Guru Sewa (service) but mastered Vedanta and the number of Shastras and scriptures. After Samadhi (willing death) of Maharaj, Aniljee continued his mission to rush for the help of people. A knowledgeable and experienced man in spiritualism, Aniljee is still in the service of his Guru by spreading his thoughts. Given up the worldly life satisfactorily since a decade, Aniljee hardly needs anything to live except food, clothes and shelter.
